The observation by the CLEO Collaboration of the decays B{sup (+,0)}{r_arrow}K{sup (+,0)} {eta}{sup {prime}} is shown to imply a significant but still uncertain contribution from the flavor-SU(3)-singlet component of the {eta}{sup {prime}} . By comparing the rate for these decays with others for decays of B mesons to two pseudoscalar mesons, it is shown that the prospects for observing CP -violating asymmetries in certain modes such as B{sup +}{r_arrow}{pi}{sup +}{eta} and B{sup +}{r_arrow}{pi}{sup +}{eta}{sup {prime}} are quite good. {copyright} {ital 1997} {ital The American Physical Society}
