PE tubing solves coal draingage problem for DE. [Polyethylene, various diameter; Detroit Edison]

A slotted, flexible, corrugated drainage tubing is used to drain the weight of water from the Detroit Edison's Belle River coal pile and reduce freezing during the winter. The complex drainage system is described with an accompanying system diagram and photographs of the installation process. (DCK)
