Pressure-dependent magneto-optic studies on strained-layer superlattices have been performed for magnetic fields up to 65 kG and pressures up to 4 kbar in the temperature range of 1.6--4 K. The experimental pressure coefficients of the band-gap energy and the reduced effective mass in both n-type and p-type strained-layer In/sub 0.2/Ga/sub 0.8/As/GaAs superlattice structures were determined.
