Data are presented on fallout radioactivity in samples of milk, other foods, total diet, surface waters, and precipitation collected throughout the US and throughout the Americas during 1965. Data are included on the /sup 131/I content in bovine thyroids collected from January through June 1965. Environmental levels of radioactivity during the first half of 1965 are reported for the Union Carbide Nuclear Company, Oak Ridge, Tenn., and Paducah, Ky., and the Goodyear Atomic Corp., Piketon, Ohio. Data are included on three US underground nuclear tests announced by the Atomic Energy Commission during Dec 1965. Separate abstracts were prepared for three sections of this report.
