Among other things, the design times for individual steps in servicing an oven on the pusher side are compared with those actually measured on 7-m ovens; the total actual time was 12 min. It is considered that the maximum number of ovens in a battery is 65, 77 and 82 at oven widths of 410, 450 and 480 mm respectively.
