Atmospheric deposition: summary of an APCA specialty meeting

On November 7-10, 1982, APCA's TT-5 and TT-8 Technical Committees sponsored a specialty meeting on atmospheric deposition. The conference was hosted by APCA's Ontario and East Central Sections and the Michigan Chapter. A view of atmospheric deposition was presented in five segments; (1) critical reviews; (2) sources and monitoring; (3) source-receptor relationships; (4) deposition and effects; and (5) cost-benefit analysis and control strategies. The conference provided a forum to consider the present status of information and theories, supplemented with recent developments. (DP)
