An implementation of the new IEEE standard routines for FASTBUS

The authors implemented a subset of the new 1987 IEEE standard routines for FASTBUS for the General Purpose Master (GPM), a FASTBUS master developed at CERN. Experiences in implementing and using the new standard routines for FASTBUS are reported.
