A 75,000 bbl/day fluid catalytic cracker at Marathon Oil Co.'s 200,000 bbl/day Garyville, La., refinery is now under construction with completion scheduled for the last quarter of 1979. The unit is part of a $205 million construction program that will increase the yield of unleaded gasoline from 45,000 to > 100,000 bbl/day, and will reduce the yield of heavy fuel oil.
