Refuted are environmentalist assertions that sulfur dioxide particulates, and carbon dioxide by-products from human fossil fuel burning are a threat. Natural pollution from volcanoes, forest fires, sea salts, oxidation of soil humus and bogs, and other phenomena create more CO2, SO2, and particulates than humans create. The function of CO2 in plant growth is evaluated. (17 references, 2 tables)
