Hard-limiting an offset signal
Technical Report
·
OSTI ID:5408487
Expressions are derived for the output autocorrelation function of a hard-limiter driven by the sum of signal, noise, and an offset term. Two signal types are considered: a random-phase sinusoid and a stationary, zero-mean Gaussian process. For each signal, the offset at the sampling times is modeled first as a constant and second as a sequence of binary-valued random variables.
