New production mechanisms for exotic quarks of superstring-inspired E/sub 6/ models at ep colliders

Superstring-inspired E/sub 6/ models often contain light (approx. <1 TeV) color-triplet states, h-italic-tilde (spin zero) and h (spin 1/2), which may have sizable leptoquark couplings. We point out that the processes eu..-->..hgamma-tilde,hg-italic-tilde and eg..-->..hu-italic-tilde are possible new production mechanisms for supersymmetric particles at ep colliders which can rival the resonant production of scalar h-italic-tilde leptoquarks via eq fusion and the standard production processes (e.g., eq..-->..e-italic-tilde q-italic-tilde) for superparticles. We also briefly discuss the related reactions ..gamma..e..-->..uh-italic-tilde, ..gamma..q..-->..eh-italic-tilde, and ug..-->..he-italic-tilde. .AE
