This paper discusses the TsVK and TsVM zeolites in the hydrogen form and examines their use in developing efficient catalysts for new processes in petroleum refining and petrochemical production. The processes discussed include: selective dewaxing of petroleum products; pseudocumene isomerization; selectoforming and hydroisomerization of hydrocarbons of naphtha cuts; disproportionation of aromatic hydrocarbons; and processes of synthetic fuel manufacture. A promising method for the production of motor fuels from nonpetroleum raw material is discussed: the selective synthesis of C/sub 5/C/sub 10/ hydrocarbons (naptha cut) from CO and H/sub 2/. On the basis of the TsVK and TsVM zeolites, cobalt catalysts have been developed for the selective synthesis of isomeric C/sub 5/-C/sub 10/ hydrocarbons.
