The US Environmental Protection Agency has deemed inadequate, and thus proposes to disapprove, those portions of the revised New York SIP for the New York City metropolitan area, which concern measures to control transportation-related air pollution and meet basic public transportation needs. The SIP and EPA's recommendations to correct certain plan deficiencies are discussed. Comments must be received by 8/29/80.
