Approval and promulgation of state implementation plans ((SIP)); proposed revision to the New York State Implementation Plan

The US Environmental Protection Agency invites comments on its proposed rulemaking on the revised New York SIP, which provides for attainment of national ambient air quality standards for carbon monoxide, ozone, and particulate matter in New York City and Nassau, Suffolk, Rockland, and Westchester counties, as required by the amended Clean Air Act of 1977. The revised SIP is discussed in detail and is available for inspection of certain locations. Comments must be submitted by 2/8/80.
