Energy dependence of the /sup 7/Li(p,d)/sup 6/Li reaction

Angular distributions for the transitions to the 1/sup +/ ground state and 3/sup +/ first excited state of /sup 6/Li for the /sup 7/Li(p,d) reaction have been obtained at 200 and 400 MeV. It has been shown that the ratio for the excitation of the 3/sup +/ states relative to the 1/sup +/ state can be accounted for at bombarding energies ranging from 16 to 800 MeV by the addition of a small amount of 1f/sub 7/2/ in the wave function for the transition to the 3/sup +/ state.
