New closed system integral cesium reservoir. [Cs; Pb; W; C]

This paper discusses the problem of achieving static cesiation of thermionic nuclear reactor converters. The lead-cesium reservoir concept is described in detail. Experimental data showed that an adequate cesium pressure control is facilitated with a lead-cesium solution at the collector operating temperature of the thermionic fuel elements. (AIP)
