Solution-calorimetric data are examined for UCl/sub n/ (c) and UF/sub n/ (c) from various sources in order to calculate new values for the standard enthalpies of formation at 298.15 K for UCl/sub 3/ (c) -872.3 +- 4.0, UCl/sub n/ (c) -1029.7 +- 3.7, UCl/sub 5/ (c) -1054.0 +- 4.5 kJmol. Results are compared with published values for UCl/sub n/ (c). There is good agreement with the enthalpy of formation for UCl/sub n/ (g) from mass spectrometry. New values have been calculated for the enthalpies of sublimation at 298.15 K for UCl/sub 3/ (c) 336 +- 12 and UCl/sub 5/ (c) 137 +- 16 kJmol
