Quantum calculations of harmonic-vibrational transition probabilities in collinear X sub 2 Y sub 2 + X sub 2 Z sub 2 collisions

This paper reports on quantum-mechanical calculations of harmonic-vibrational transition probabilities that were reported for nonreactive collinear X{sub 2}Y{sub 2} + X{sub 2}Z{sub 2} collisions. Calculations are carried out for C{sub 2}H{sub 2} + C{sub 2}H{sub 2}, C{sub 2}H{sub 2} + C{sub 2}D{sub 2} and C{sub 2}D{sub 2} + C{sub 2}D{sub 2} systems. The dependence of transition probabilities on doubly and triply degenerate states was investigated.
