Mass spectrometer memory refinements required for ultra-precise UF/sub 6/ ratio measurements

Empirical data demonstrate that a refined memory equation is applicable for precise isotopic ratio measurements of uranium hexafluoride by mass spectrometer. Ultra-high precision mass spectrometer ratio measurements of UF/sub 6/ are not appreciably limited by the ion source memory level provided appropriate slope and ratio corrections are applied to the memory factors.
