Photometric titration of low sulphate concentrations with an automated procedure

Low sulphate concentrations in the range 2 x 10/sup -5/ (m) to 20 x 10/sup -5/ (m) were determined by photometric titration according to the thorin method. By combination of titrator, auto burette, recorder and control unit, an automated procedure was developed. The standard deviation is 3% but is dependent on the concentration of sulphate.
