Phase inversions and creep in dinas refractories for coke ovens

The results of service-life and temperature-related mechanical tests on Dinas refractories for use in coke ovens are reported. Creep, crystal-phase transformation, thermal expansion, and compression strength parameters are studied. A thermal stress analysis is conducted. Petrographic comparisons are made to aluminosilicate and magnesia refractories.
