Microscopic calculation of the /sup 16/O nucleus with a realistic NN interaction

Linear combinations of potential harmonics convenient for the calculation of nuclei at the end of the p shell are obtained. The ground state of /sup 16/O is calculated in a basis of potential harmonics of central and tensor NN forces. The convergences of the wave function and of the binding energy in the global angular momentum K and their sensitivity to different components of the NN interaction are investigated.
