P-model calculations for p-shell nuclei with a realistic NN interaction. The nucleus /sup 15/O

A technique has been developed for the practical calculation of the hyper-radial parts of the bilinear invariant form of the P model for p-shell nuclei. The ground (J=1/2) and first excited (J=3/2) levels of normal parity of the /sup 15/O nucleus have been calculated with a GPT potential. The sensitivity of the energies and radii of these states to the various components of a realistic NN interaction has been investigated.
