Isotope ratios in interstellar formaldehyde from 6 centimeter observations

We report observations of 6 cm absorption by H/sub 2/ /sup 13/CO and H/sub 2/C/sup 18/O in Sgr A, Sgr B2, W51, W33, ad Ori B. These provide more accurate isotope ratios than we have previously reported because both isotopes have been observed in the same manner, and the continuum sources were monitored on a regular basis. We find a double ratio, H/sub 2/ /sup 13/CO/H/sub 2/C/sup 18/O, close to the terrestrial value of 5.6 in the galactic plane sources, and enhance to 7.6 in the galactic center sources.
