This paper presents the results of an investigation of the effect of ultrasound on the mechanical properties of steels 12Kh25N16G7AR, 10KhN2020T3R, KhN77TYuR, KhN35VTYu, KhN70VMTYuB, KhN75VMFYu, and KhN55VMTFKYu, as well as the alloys VT3-1, VT5, VT9, VT15, and OT4. Data are given on strain and stress analyses under conditions of compression and deformation testing and recommendations are offered for optimizing ultrasonic treatment techniques in order to achieve the desired properties in the steels and alloys.
