Acetylacetonato complexes of rhodium(I) with perhydro-1,3,2-oxazaphosphorines
The authors have previously investigated acetylacetonato complexes of rhodium(I) with 2-amino-1,3,2-dioxaphosphorinanes. Continuing their study of coordination compounds of rhodium(I) based on 1,3,2-diheteraphosphorinanes, they have synthesized complexes of perhydro-1,3,2-oxazaphosphorines of various chemical natures and examined their properties. The course of the reaction and the purity of the product were checked by means of TLC and the /sup 31/P NMR spectra. The structure of the complexes was established with the aid of IR and NMR spectroscopy and the results of elemental analysis. The IR spectra have a strong nu(CO) absorption band at 1972-1995 cm/sup -1/ and the acetylacetonato ligand is characterized by two bands at 1505-1515 and 1574-1581 cm/sup -1/. Strong absorption at 1025-1080 and 1172-1180 cm/sup -1/ characterizes the COP fragment. By means of /sup 31/P they established the location of coordination of the perhydrooxazaphosphorine ligand. The spectra consist of doublet signals in the region of delta/sub P/ 129.7-140.3 ppm and, judging from the magnitude of the coupling constant (225.5-255.3 Hz), it is determined by direct coordination of phosphorus on rhodium.
