Levels of /sup 52/Cr populated in the decay of /sup 52/V, /sup 52/Mn/sup g/ and in the sequence /sup 52/Fe. -->. /sup 52/Mn/sup m/. -->. /sup 52/Cr

Journal Article · · Phys. Rev., C; (United States)
The decay of (J/sup ..pi../in parentheses) /sup 52/V(3/sup +/), /sup 52/Mn/sup m/(2/sup +/), and /sup 52/Mn/sup g/(6/sup +/) has been studied in order to clarify the number and nature of levels in /sup 52/Cr below 5 MeV. The levels of /sup 52/Cr that are populated in these ..beta.. decays are (J/sup ..pi../in parentheses) ground state (0/sup +/), 1434.08 (2/sup +/), 2369.60 (4/sup +/), 2767.68 (4/sup +/), 2964.77 (2/sup +/), 3113,82 (6/sup +/), 3161.63 (2/sup +/), 3415.27 (4/sup +/), 3472.2 (3/sup +/), 3615.84 (5/sup +/), 3771.8 (2/sup +/), 3951 ((1/sup +/)), 4015.42 (5/sup +/), (4208 (-)), 4563 (3/sup -/), 4627.1 (5/sup +/), and 4815.7 keV (1/sup +/,2/sup +/). A single level at 3472.2 keV (3/sup +/) replaces the previously proposed doublet at 3469 and 3473 keV.
