Excited levels of Cr/sup 52/ were studied by investigating the decays of Mn/sup 52/(5.7 days) and Mn/sup 52/m(2l min), produced by Cr/sup 52/(d, 2n)Mn/sup 52/,/sup 52/m. By means of a two-directional focus ing beta -ray spectrometer, NaI(Tl) scintillation spectrometers and a 20-channel pulse height analyzer, the following results were obtained: energies of the main three gamma rays from Mn/ sup 52/ are 746.8 plus or minus 0.2, 938.l plus or minus 0.4, and 1434.7 plus or minus 0.8 kev; the maximum energies of the positrons from Mn/sup 52/ and Mn/sup 52/ m are 0.572 plus or minus 0.006 and 2.61 plus or minus 0.03 Mev, respectively; the spins and parities of the levels of 3120, 2373, and 1435 kev were determined to be 6+, 4+, and 21, from measurements of conversion electrons and angular correlations, several weak gamma -rays were found, which could be inferred to belong to these decays; the half-life of Mn/sup 52/m is 2l plus or minus 1 min, and its branching ratio IT/( beta /sup +/ + EC) was determined as 2 plus or minus 1%; and the energy of isomeric transition is 0.383 plus or minus 0.003 Mev, which was decided as E4 from K/L + M and the transition probability.
