The publication covers survey results of scintillation cameras and radionuclide dose calibrators from 321 facilities. A collection of demographic information about nuclear medicine operations and data about the quality assurance program was gathered. Cameras and calibrators were chosen because they are the more frequently encountered units in a clinical nuclear medicine operation and because quality assurance procedures have been recommended specifically for these instruments.
