Excitation spectra of impurity centers of LiF-U/sup 6 +/ crystals, grown by the Kyropoulos air-cooling method, with the concentration of UO/sub 3/ activator varied from 0.1 to 0.01%, were recorded at 0-0 transitions of the luminescence. The measurements were conducted at 80 K with a spectrofluorimeter and two monochromators. Results indicate that the excitation spectra of each center are practically the same for the crystals containing different amounts of activator and remain unchanged when the spectra are recorded at the lines representing either electric or magnetic dipole transitions. The spectra are presented.
