Massive transfer in /sup 12/C+/sup 197/Au reaction

In this paper, we present energy spectra and angular distributions for the ..cap alpha.. particles emitted in the reaction of /sup 12/C+/sup 197/Au at 64- and 67-MeV incident energy and for ..cap alpha.., Be, and B emitted in this reaction at incident energy of 71.5 MeV. The most probable energies of the various products emitted in this reaction decrease with decreasing incident energy. The angular distributions peak near grazing angle. The peak position of the angular distributions shift from 80/sup 0/ to 120/sup 0/ while the projectile energy decreases from 71.5 to 64 MeV. These all show the features of transfer reaction. The /sup 6/Li product has also been measured and the /sup 8/Be particles emitted from this reaction have been measured at 90/sup 0/ to the beam direction by ..cap alpha..-..cap alpha.. coincident technique at 71.5-MeV incident energy.
