The cluster of galaxies A 426 was examined photometrically in the photographic color system. 530 galazies were identified on the large-scale photographs of the 2.6/sup -m/ telescope at the Byurakan Observatory to approximately 21/sup m/ .5. The luminosity function is constructed. The effects of brightness segregation of the galaxies with respect to the central activity strip running through the radio sources NGC, 1275, NGC 1272, and IC 310 are investigated, as is the distribution of the cluster galaxies with respect to their apparent ellipticities and the position angles of their major axes.
