Ecological Citizenship project. Final report, February 1, 1995-- January 31, 1997
Ecological Citizenship (EcoCit) is a process for infusing environmental education and action into a school and its local community. It mixes a hands-on, K-8th environmental curriculum with parent and community involvement, peer teaching, and graduate-level professional development for teachers. Through the 2-year grant, the Chicago Academy of Sciences was able to introduce and deliver the EcoCit program into 5 elementary schools.
