More high-tech products on the way from the Bureau of Mines

The U.S. Bureau of Mines has channeled most of the efforts of well-qualified engineers and scientists to produce a broad selection of instruments and equipment. A few developments from the Pittsburgh Research Center at Bruceton, PA, three of which ar described here, embody the latest scientific concepts pouring out of government defense and space research. These are expected to assist private industry in making coal mining safer and more productive.
