Nuclear quadrupole moment and hyperfine structure of the ground state of a light hydrogenlike atom

The article examines in second-order perturbation theory the influence of the nuclear quadrupole moment (NQM) on the energy of hyperfine splitting (HFS) of the ground level of light hydrogenlike atoms. Analytical expressions are derived for corrections to the wave function and energy of HFS for any distribution of NQM.
