The Oak Ridge Industrial Model (ORIM) is a mid-term, five to twenty year, energy demand forecasting model. The characteristics of this model have been documented in a series of three reports. Volume III is a description of the data base upon which ORIM is based. Included in this volume are the operating characteristics of the industrial energy conversion equipment, together with cost and performance data pertaining to the energy using operations within the various industrial sectors.
