On the basis of analysis of experimental data on CC collisions at momentum 4.2 GeV/c per nucleon we verify the picture of the interaction of relativistic nuclei based on a nuclear pionization model. We show that processes occurring in nucleus-nucleus collisions have a collective nature. The experimental data are consistent with the idea of a partial separation of the nucleonic and mesonic components of the interaction products of relativistic nuclei and a thermodynamic form of the secondary-particle spectrum.
