The spectrum of Zeta Capricorni is analyzed with the help of model atmospheres, published photometric and spectroscopic data, and newly acquired spectra of CNO features. It is found that s-process elements are enhanced by factors of up to 10, that the carbon to oxygen ratio is nearly unity, and that the carbon isotope ratio is in excess of 40. It is noted that the abundance of nitrogen does not appear to have been significantly increased in the atmosphere. The abundance results are discussed in the context of the newly discovered binary nature of Zeta Capricorni. It is noted that the model atmosphere derived confirms earlier indications that the star is one of the warmest, most luminous barium stars known.
