Recommendations for solving industry problems in the following areas are given: federal taxation policy; federal--state utility rate structure policy; federal--state environmental protection assessments; federal--state environmental standards for geothermal pollutants; resource assessment; overlapping lease applications; cash bonus competitive bidding; cumulative acreage limitation; utility uncertainty re supplier's performance; readjustment of terms and conditions of leases; minimum leasehold size limitations; work requirements; and delays in the issuance of noncompetitive leases on forest lands.
