This papers in this volume of the Reprint Series were selected on the basis of their current usefulness in petroleum exploration and development. This volume begins with a series of general papers chosen to cover most aspects of photogeology and photogeomorphology: These are followed by papers covering photogeologic measurement techniques of such things as bed thickness and dip angles. Several papers discuss the direct application of these techniques to petroleum exploration. Also included are papers on fracture identification and analysis. Finally, several papers discuss the use of photogeomorphology in geologic interpretation and petroleum exploration.
