Rotating flow in a longitudinal magnetic field

Results are presented on numerical studies of the flow of a viscous incompressible electrically conducting fluid due to the interaction of a circular jet with a free shear cylindical layer rotating around the edge of a longitudinal magnetic field. The calculations are compared to measurements on mercury.(AIP)
