This project consisted of the design, construction, and installation of four solar water heater units consisting of a copper and galvanized steel flat plate collectors, pressurized storage/heat transfer tanks, and operating on the thermosyphoning principle. The units were designed to deliver thirty gallons of 120/sup 0/F water per day to be installed in homes which previously had no hot water from any source. The results of this project are presented.
