Testing for tomorrow's ehv

Suspension hardware supplied for ehv transmission lines of the future may be considerably smaller and less expensive than some in use today. But the insulators that support this hardware will have to satisfy more difficut service requirements than are generally encountered on present ehv lines. These are two of the most significant conclusions drawn by Ohio Brass engineers from an extensive series of test programs in the O-B high voltage laboratory.
