On the production of polarized e sup + and. gamma. beams in the proton accelerators

The polarization effects accompanying synchrotron-like processes of e{sup +}e{sup {minus}}-pair creation and {gamma}-quantum emission in crystals make it possible to produce longitudinally (circularly) and transversely (linearly) polarized e{sup {plus minus}} and {gamma} beams with the energies {epsilon}{sub {plus minus}}, {h bar}{omega}{approx gt}100 GeV in proton accelerators. Such beams open up new experimental possibilities in high-energy spin physics.
