Thrust distribution of three-jet events in e/sup +/e/sup -/-annihilations for heavy quarks

Within the framework of quantum chromodynamics to the first order in the running coupling constant ..cap alpha../sub s/(s) and taking into account the masses of the quarks, we have obtained the distribution in the thrust T, T being the dimensionless momentum of the most energetic parton in the reaction e/sup +/e/sup -/..-->..qq-barg. We have investigated three kinematical regions which differ in the relative magnitude of the gluon momentum.
