DOE energy information data base: magnetic tape description

The Technical Information Center as part of its activities in the management, publication, and dissemination of scientific and technical information receives and disseminates magnetic tapes containing bibliographic information pertaining to research and development in all areas of energy. The tape format used by TIC conforms to American Standard Z39.2-1971 and is described in this publication.
