Exact solution of Leggett's equations for the A phase of superfluid He/sup 3/

The Lagrangian and Hamiltonian formalisms of Leggett's magnetic dynamics for superfluid He/sup 3/-A are formulated. The spherical coordinates of the spin vector d are chosen as the generalized variables. The exact solution of Leggett's equations are found for He/sup 3/-A with a uniform texture, in which the orbital vector l is aligned with the constant magnetic field H. The possible regimes of motion of the magnetic system He/sup 3/-A, produced by a jump in the magnetic field, are studied.
