Averaged equations in spin dynamics of superfluid /sup 3/He-B

Nonlinear dissipative spin-dynamics regimes of superfluid /sup 3/He-B are investigated in the absence of an external magnetic field, using an auxiliary Hamiltonian system in a space of dimensionality 3/2. An analysis of the interaction of the Leggett-Takagi dissipative mechanism and of the nonlinearity points to the possibility of a nonexponential and nonmonotonic magnetization-relaxation regime.
