S>A description is given of measurements carried out on a /sup 236/PuO/ sub 2/ source containing about 0.29 /sup 236/Pu, which has been developed for a thermoelectric generator for a heart pacemaker. The gamma -spectrum, neutron source strength and energy distribution, dose equivalent rate, exposure rate and the heat power, activity, and the absorbed dose rate induced by the source are given.
