The manufacture of isotopic batteries for pacemakers necessitates a precise control of the thermal pcwer of the /sup 238/Pu sources employed. The calorimetric method used is presented. The re-. sults obtained are compared with those of other laboratories. The specific power of /sup 238/Pu subsequently deduced is then compared with specific powers calculated from data found in the literature. (FR) v
